Meet the Owner
Hi, I’m Mary! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in Nashville TN. I have experienced the benefits of therapy in my own life and am honored to be able to provide clients with personalized care that fits their needs. I believe that therapy should be a safe place to explore your story, gain deeper self understanding, and learn ways to cope better with the hard things in life. I hope to create a fun and collaborative environment for all my clients that feels inclusive and inviting.
When I am not helping clients reach their goals I enjoy writing and playing music, and hosting my dating podcast. I have been a fitness instructor for 7 years, and love incorporating mind-body awareness practices into my work with clients. I currently teach Pure Barre, and BodyRok PIlates. I believe that therapy should incorporate healing of the mind, body, and spirit.
I can’t wait to meet you!
The best revenge is none. Heal, move on, and don’t become like those who hurt you.
My approach is rooted in the ideals of mindfulness and radical acceptance, which help clients build a more balanced and present life. I take a structured approach to sessions, incorporating DBT skills, mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness to support clients in navigating challenges and improving relationships. I also integrate Emotionally Focused Therapy to help clients gain a deeper understanding of their emotions and their root causes, and I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to identify and change self-limiting thought patterns. My hope is that clients walk away from sessions with tangible skills that can be applied immediately.
